With hololive English -Justice- celebrating its 2nd anniversary and hololive English -Advent- marking its 3rd anniversary, we finally received the pre-ordered “Advent VS Justice” × More Fun Café Acrylic Magnetic Chessboard Set, giving us the perfect opportunity to unbox this unique piece of merchandise during such a joyful occasion.
Advent VS Justice tells a brand-new story centered around two rival organizations, Advent and Justice. Through various forms of content, including manga and livestreams, fans can experience both the battles between the two factions and the bonds shared by their members.
The five members of hololive English -Advent- are Nerissa Ravencroft, Fuwawa Abyssgard, Shiori Novella, Mococo Abyssgard, and Koseki Bijou.
Meanwhile, hololive English -Justice- consists of Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame (エリザベス・ローズ・ブラッドフレイム), Gigi Murin (ジジ・ムリン), Cecilia Immergreen (セシリア・イマーグリーン), and Raora Panthera (ラオーラ・パンテーラ).
From December 24, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the “Advent VS Justice” × More Fun Café collaboration allowed fans to immerse themselves in the world of Advent VS Justice through themed decorations, exclusive menu items, and the unique charm of the participating VTubers.
The collaboration also introduced a wide selection of exclusive merchandise. Among them, the Magnetic Acrylic Chessboard Set (one acrylic magnetic chessboard and nine mini magnetic acrylic stands, NT$1,680) stood out as one of the most distinctive items, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of Advent VS Justice: Chess Battle.
Measuring 15 × 15 cm, the chessboard is compact enough to hold comfortably in one hand while also serving as an eye-catching desk display. The Advent and Justice logos, along with each faction’s signature colors, are printed on opposite sides of the board, creating a clear visual distinction while maintaining an elegant overall design.
Each acrylic stand measures 5 × 5 cm, and the complete set includes all nine VTubers. Besides their adorable appearance, the magnetic bases allow the stands to remain firmly attached to the chessboard without easily falling over.
Because the chessboard is relatively small and the acrylic stand bases are fairly large, it is not particularly practical for playing an actual game of chess. Instead, it excels as a display piece, allowing fans to recreate the dramatic confrontation featured in the Advent VS Justice key visual or arrange the characters in their own creative layouts.
However, the true appeal of this merchandise set is difficult to appreciate by looking at the chessboard and stands separately. Once all nine acrylic stands are placed on the board and the display is set on a rotating turntable, the reflected light creates a dazzling, sparkling effect, reminiscent of how each VTuber shines brilliantly on stage. It is the kind of display that naturally draws your eyes, making you want to keep watching them.
